Synopsis
For my presentation, I have chosen to talk about Jeff Wall. Wall is known for bringing together the essentials of photography with other art forms which include painting, cinema, and literature. Jeff's pictures are known for backlit color transparencies where they were shown in exhibitions in galleries and museums where it plays a part in where color establishes the importance of the aesthetics of photography.
Perception of Photography
Reviewing Wall's work has changed my perception of photography in a way that it seems so effortless to take pictures of something or someone. The aesthetic that Wall is going for by bringing in different art forms is what I think is very cool. Wall adds different elements and different perspectives to all his photographs.
